Another day, another leak. Even though there are a lot of days (even weeks) left until the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be introduced, we already know a lot of details about the South Korean manufacturer’s phablet.
This Monday, a supposed promotional poster made it online, revealing the handset in all glory. Oh Samsung, you’re not good at all at keeping secrets…
It’s going to rock a huge display!
According to Android Headlines, the phone is following the same design line as the Galaxy S8, with an almost bezel-less Infinity display and an unconventional aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Also, the left edge of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will most likely feature two volume buttons and, underneath it, a Bixby button, textured, in order to access it easier.
Moving on to the right side of the phone, we have the power button and this is pretty much it, since all the other buttons are on the display!
Of course, one of the most interesting aspects of this Galaxy Note 8 leak is the dual camera setup on the back, consisting in two vertically positioned lenses, alongside a dual tone LED flash. We can’t ignore the heart rate sensor either!
The camera setup, one of the biggest attraction points
Sticking to the back of the device, we can observe the fingerprint scanner, which might be pretty hard to access, considering the size of this phone. To be more specific, the Galaxy Note 8 could feature a huge 6.3″ panel!
Apparently, Samsung is currently experimenting with the back camera, so we don’t know a lot of details about the setup, but rumors are pointing to two 12MP lenses, developed by Samsung Opto-Electronic.
We’re also looking forward to seeing at least 6GB of RAM under the hood (an 8GB variant isn’t to be ignored either), while the battery should have a capacity of 3,300mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could make its debut between the second half of August and mid-September.
