In an attempt to compete with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Huawei is planning to launch the massive Mate 10, a handset about which we know a couple of things. Still, one aspect about it it’s completely surrounded in mystery: the design.
Even though there aren’t any leaks available either, some designers imagined some pretty interesting Huawei Mate 10 concepts, one of them being presented below.
No bezels at all?!
The interesting part about this one, though, is that it’s based on actual schematics. Of course, it’s too early to talk about this, so our recommendation is to avoid taking this design as granted.
As you can see, Huawei is also planning to follow the bezel-less design trend, a fact that was also confirmed by the company’s CEO.
Spec-wise, the Mate 10 should sport a massive 6.1″ display, with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, according to GSM Arena. The same source points to the manufacturer’s own Kirin 970 chip being present under the hood, alongside 6GB of RAM and 64 gigs of internal storage, while the presence of a microSD card slot wasn’t confirmed yet.
Yet another Leica-branded camera!
Camera-wise, we expect to see some more Leica-branded units, at least on the back of the phone, considering the fact that Huawei worked with the company for their past flagships.
Finally, the alleged battery capacity of the Huawei Mate 10 will be 4000mAh, with support for fast charging. And, of course, the operating system should be Android 7.0 Nougat.
In terms of price, the details are very scary. Specifically, it should have a price tag of around $1,000 (or over!). The handset will make its debut in October, most likely.
